My husband and I enjoy one hobby together--collecting antique cast iron banks. However, displaying our collection has proven to be somewhat challenging. As you can imagine, cast iron banks are quite heavy when gathered together in a single location. A typical bookshelf would suffice but lacked character to add interest to the collection. It was going to take something special, custom made by someone special. Through another one of my husband's hobbies, we found our perfect solution.

As an avid fly fisherman, my husband frequents Alpharetta Outfitters in Alpharetta, GA and Bowman Outdoors in Dahlonega, GA. On a recent visit, he made note of a beautiful cabinet Bowman Outdoors had to display fishing flies. He suggested we could have a custom cabinet built for our growing bank collection. With pencil and paper in hand, I came up with a design based on the fly cabinet. Larry Williams is that "someone special."
